potting plants.

This time of year living in a one bedroom on the 3rd floor without some green grass to lay on, can become kind of a drag.  I stopped by the store and picked up some plants to brighten up our little place and freshen up the air (quite literally).

I have a hard time keeping plants alive, let's just say I didn't take after my mother's gardening ways.  It can be a little discouraging when I can't even keep succulents alive. But, I am convinced that having a "green thumb" is a learned trait.
