plant lady in the making.

Since graduating from college.. I've been very fortunate to work from home and so 'naturally' my plant collection has increased immensely. The view from our apartment is a huge office building and air conditioners from the neighboring U of U dorm room - we have no other choice... no yard, mo' plants, mo' / less problems.  Jeff also helps with the collection- so he's sweet to do that. And I guess it's our plant collection.  

Also, it's almost the weekend! 

living a dream.

spring is seriously the best

I was talking to a friend last night about life feeling like a dream lately.  The littlest things mean the most to me now that I'm living a normal life (living in the same state) with my husband again..  For instance, driving to pick Jeff up from work made me so giddy- because it was a Thursday night and we could just go home and make dinner and hangout. The thought about how that's normal now is freaking awesome.

We are excited for the nice weather here in SLC- spring and fall are the best.  Right? Last week we walked down to Dunkin Donuts and then made our way to the finish line of the SLC marathon-- it was pretty hilarious watching people's reactions as the crossed the finish line.  I felt kinda cool, but kinda gross putting together that these people we were watching had just ran for 4+ hours, and here we were eating a double chocolate donut for me, and a glazed donut for Jeff.  What is even sadder is that I can't put donuts down like I used to.  I eat 1/2 to an entire donut and want to go cry because I feel so gross.  Whhhy? Donuts are my life.

First off.. last week of homework. Now, that's something to really celebrate!

There's snow on the ground (I'm sure everyone is aware.) Anyway, I'm just day-dreaming about the Hawaii trip Jeff and I went on last April. Which we often talk about... Need to go back as soon as possible. 

But you know what is almost just as good as a week in Hawaii? Being back in SLC, with my husband!, for good next Saturday! I can't handle this happiness. (!!!!!!!!)
